Picturesquely located at 1,500 m above sea level in the elevated south-eastern part of South Tyrol, nestled in a gently hilly and mountainous landscape, carpeted in forests and meadows at the foot of the unequal twin peaks of Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, facing south with wide views across an impressive mountain panorama, far removed from the noise of urban life.

The Berghoferin is a house shaped through a considered approach to aesthetics and quality. It was remodelled with a strong focus on integrating it into the surrounding landscape, aligning it with the region’s history and values, and appointed with a deliberate eye for the particular. It is conceived as a place of savoir-vivre that promises enjoyment in a refined, culturally attuned atmosphere, as well as a refuge for those seeking calm and a slower pace of everyday life for a while, valuing the many possibilities for a profound experience of nature. Wonders to discover

A house with lots of room and lots of rooms – inside and outside. Places of retreat with room for encounters, and places of encounter that leave the guests room to retreat. A “house of rooms”, upon each of which time has bestowed its very own stories and unique character, each welcoming the guests with its own special atmosphere.

Curiosities and rarities, things that are beautiful and things that are interesting, testimonies of other times and cultures, art to be observed and art to be read – all collected with passion, selected with care, and compiled in a pleasing manner.

With a variety of salons, parlours, patios, lounges, reading nooks, terraces, and pavilions, the Berghoferin offers its guests plenty of room(s) outside of their suites as well – room for privacy or for encounters; and the hotel's select furnishings and design invite you to explore the wide range of activities and leisure opportunities to be enjoyed in the hotel and on the wider premises.

The Chapel
