The Southern sky is drenched in mountain-cool air. Radein, located in the municipality of Aldein, is a small mountain village in the southernmost part of South Tyrol. At 1,500 metres above sea level, it is the highest settlement on the Regglberg plateau. The drive from Neumarkt or Auer takes about 30 minutes and it ends in the middle of a largely unspoilt natural landscape with gently mountainous, lush and sunlit meadows, pastures and sparse larch, spruce and stone pine forests.
